About LNW
Mission
Little Nice Workshop exists to create thoughtful, community-centered spaces where writers and musicians can grow, take risks, and make meaningful work.
We believe in generosity, clarity, craft, experimentation, and the power of a room full of people who are genuinely rooting for one another.
Who we are
Little Nice Workshop was founded by Jillian Jackson and Bradford Krieger. We operate in partnership with the Big Nice Studio team with a mission to nurture writers and multidisciplinary artists in Rhode Island and beyond. We collaborate with award-winning instructors, editors, and visiting writers from New England and across the country.
How we run our workshops
Our multi-week workshops run in 8-week sessions and combine generative writing, guided discussion, and supportive peer feedback. Class sizes are capped at 10 students.
One day seminars offer an intensive deep-dive on a specific topic. Sessions are capped at 15 students.
Unless otherwise noted, courses are beginner-friendly and require no prior experience.
